FNAF Game is one of those horror games where the anticipation is almost scarier than the actual jumpscares.

FNAF Game short for Five Nights at Freddy’s, is a survival horror experience built around a deceptively simple idea: survive your night shift at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. The original game was released in 2014 by Scott Cawthon and puts players in the role of a security guard responsible for surviving five increasingly difficult nights.

Instead of giving players weapons or a large area to explore, FNAF places them inside a small security office. From there, survival depends on watching security cameras, monitoring the animatronics, controlling doors and lights, and carefully managing a limited supply of electricity.

How the FNAF Gameplay Works

The main objective is straightforward: survive from midnight until 6 a.m. Each night represents a shift, and the animatronics become increasingly difficult to manage as the game progresses.

The security cameras are your primary source of information. By switching between different camera feeds, you can observe areas of the restaurant and track where the animatronics have moved. However, checking cameras uses power, so constantly watching every location is not a sustainable strategy.

The two doors beside the office provide another important defensive option. If an animatronic approaches from one side, closing the appropriate door can prevent it from entering. The office lights can also help you check the nearby hallways. The challenge is knowing when to use these tools and when to conserve them.

This creates a constant risk-versus-reward decision. Using everything available might keep you safer temporarily, but wasting electricity can leave you defenseless later in the night. The official game description specifically emphasizes the limited electricity available during each shift.
