Prachiti Phatak from Pune is a CFA and MS in Finance who began her career as an equity research analyst and later became an MBA professor, teaching students about finance.

After eight years of marriage and with two young children, she decided to join her father’s mutual fund distribution business. At the time, the business had an AUM of ₹5 crore and 100 clients.

Today, it has grown to ₹45 crore AUM, a ₹35 lakh SIP book and 400 clients.
